We Can Do This is a local organization dedicated to providing meals and essential services for underprivileged youth on the weekends. The group recently attained non-profit status and wanted a website to encourage donations, apply for grants, and reach further than their small Facebook group of volunteers.
The scope of this project included a new logo/branding, a simple website, and other digital materials including social media profile and cover images. Their new branding is approachable for even their youngest community members and borrows bold colors from the healthy foods they love to offer their kids. The strawberry and heart used in their logo and elsewhere symbolizes the support and care the organization has for their community. This project had a tight turnaround time, so an existing WordPress theme was adapted to fit their new branding (view the original theme here).
With their new WordPress website, donations to the nonprofit’s Square account have been streamlined, and the board hopes to be able to expand to more community centers in the future.
